Drift Trip
Float a 10-12 mile stretch of pristine rivers casting large streamers to shoreline cover targeting trophy brown trout, smallmouth bass, and our apex predators-musky and pike. Trip includes an island lunch. We will supply our most productive streamer patterns for the body of water we are fishing.
An intimate knowledge of these waters as it pertains to water temperature, clarity and flow rates help us decide which river, and which section to float for the best fishability and ultimately, angler success.
Angler flexibility goes a long way toward chances of success as many times, flow and factors affecting fish behavior will change overnight prompting a change in which section to drift.

Glacial Lakes
Discover the dozens of hidden lakes of northwest Pennsylvania, southwest New York, and eastern Ohio, shaped by ancient glacial activity. As the giant ice sheets receded, they created pristine lakes. These nutrient-rich waters, ranging from 20 to 300 acres, support a thriving ecosystem, attracting apex predators like musky and pike. With a wealth of lakes to explore, we carefully observe wind, water temperature, and fish activity to ensure your best chances of a trophy catch on the fly.
Many of these lakes allow no motors, or have horsepower restrictions. This gives you the benefit of a peaceful day on the water not being annoyed by jet skis racing about, and large wake board party boats blaring loud music.
My choice of several different boats, give you the opportunity to fish the lake we need to be on that specific day.

Walk/Wade
Whether you are imitating an insect, or other natural forage, unless you can present your fly to the fish's view and strike zone in a natural manner of drift without drag from your line, you can be assured failure every single time. That being the case, many times, positioning yourself in knee deep water and casting to the feeding fish is the only answer. Or perhaps you just want to fish a scenic trout stream in the wilds of the Allegheny National Forest.
Maybe you want to throw streamers and land a dozen of the heaviest smallmouth bass you have ever caught in your life...whatever the reason, planting your feet on the stream bottom will often far out perform fishing from any of my boats.
We will put on our waders, or wet wading shoes, rig our rods and hit the stream. Usually returning for a tailgate lunch of hot walleye sandwiches or the like for a mid day break, then back at it until dark, or until you have caught all the fish you care to catch.
